Schecter just leaked the new Chris Garza-signature for 2015 on their Facebook-page and it looks so much better than the old one.
They replaced the TOM-bridge with a black hipshot and fortunately the new Garza-sig comes with passive-sized EMGs (no exposed pole-pieces, so it’s probably an 81-7/85-7 set) instead of the bulky soapbar-pickups. You can’t really tell from the promo-picture, but it looks like it’s going to come in matte-black – I guess I’d preferred a glossy finish.
Overall the new guitar for the Suicide Silence-guitarist looks really slick and classy and I guess we’ll see it in it’s full glory at NAMM 2015. We’ll definitely try to get our hands on one for a detailed review.
