The 5150III is one of the most popular amps in the Extended Range Guitar-community ever since it’s introduction in 2008. And it’s definitely one of the best looking amps, too.
Now EVH introduced the newest addition to the 5150III-family – the 5150III S. “S” as in stealth. It is completely blacked out, with matte details. It looks great!
Apart from the looks EVH also modified the channels a bit. They basically super-charged the amp. It has more gain (!) and a slightly differently voiced channel 3. But hey, why am I writing all that? Watch the video and let Eddie van Halen himself tell you about the new “S”-version. Spoiler-Alert: it won’t replace the regular 5150III.
